THEME: CULTURAL EDUCATION

Project #1

What: Haunted House for Diamond Bar residents.
At the orientation, which is mandatory, they will discuss about the Haunted House and will sign up that night for assignments.
When/time: Orientation: October 10th from 6-9p.m
October 27, 28, 29 from 6-9pm
Where: Heritage Community Center,
2900 S Brea Canyon Rd, Diamond Bar.
# Of members: unlimited members
Points: 1 point for every hour
Authority: kindly ask the coordinator at the counter and staple the slip to your point sheet.

Project #2

What: Our special Cultural Education Event
“Passport to India”
Teaching young children about the intricacies of Indian culture.
When: 3:30-6:00 on Tuesday, October 17th
Where: La Habra Library,
221 East La Habra Blvd.
La Habra, CA 90631
# Of members: ten volunteers
Points: 1 point for every hour of service
Authority: please kindly ask an officer to sign the point sheet

Project #3

What: Helping the librarians at the West Covina Library
When: Any day in October afterschool 3:30-5:30pm
Where: 1601 W West Covina Pkwy, West Covina
# Of members: three members a day
Points: one pt per hour.
Authority: please kindly ask the librarian to sign the point sheet

Project #4

What: Helping at the Festival of Authors in Diamond Bar
When: October 22, 10am -6pm
Where: Diamond Bar Community Center
# of members: unlimited
Points: one pt per hour
Authority: kindly ask the City of Diamond Bar coordinators or an officer

Villa Colima: Monday to Sunday. One pt per hour
Monday-Friday: 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Authority: Front desk receptionist will ask you to sign a volunteer sheet. Attach that sheet to your pt sheet for pts.
